Princess Cut Diamond

Is it appropriate to have a round diamond in a setting with two princess cut diamonds on the sides?

Engagement ring. The setting has one princess cut diamond to each side of the main diamond. Is it ok to have a round cut diamond in the center or will it look weird. I have no idea, that is why I am asking. The picture doesn't look bad, but I wasn't sure if there was some unwritten rule or something

Nowadays it seems to be all about personal style and what you like. It's your ring, and likely the most important one you will get.
